Bristol Lodge 4522 Installation & United Arts Rifles Lodge 3817
Some members will be aware that Bristol Lodge 4522 was formed to support Freemasons from Bristol who worked in London. They operate using Bristol workings, which is something unique to see. United Arts Rifles Lodge date back to 1917, and as a shooting lodge, do not wear gloves. A few years ago, with membership declining in both Lodges, they agreed to form a twinning arrangement. Harpenden Lodge Of Mark Master Masons No.1254
An increasing number of FHLBC members are now beginning to join some of the other Masonic degrees, and we would certainly encourage members to join the Holy Royal Arch (Chapter) and the Mark Degrees when they are ready. On Saturday the 18th May FHLBC Member, Paul Clark's future son in law, Jake Samuel Dix, will be initiated into Layston Lodge no 6699 at 1700 at Royston Masonic Centre. This will be a real family affair. Jakes grandfather is the Lodge Secretary; his uncle is the IPM; and two of his cousins are the Worshipful Master and DC.
